Memorial for Peggy Pritchard Olson set

EDMONDS

Peggy Pritchard Olson, a city councilwoman who announced in April 2008 that she had Lou Gehrig's disease, died at her home Monday, Nov. 9. She was 59.

Olson was the daughter of Joel Pritchard, the late Republican state senator, lieutenant governor and congressman. She was halfway through her second four-year council term, after running unopposed in 2007.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.
