Everett woman dies in crash near Yakima

YAKIMA — Police this weekend were investigating a crash west of here that killed a young Everett woman Friday evening.

Nichole Lynn Beery, 22, died when the car in which she was riding crashed on a Forest Service road near Highway 410, according to a Washington State Patrol press release.

The driver, a 44-year-old Puyallup resident, lost control of a 1988 Suzuki Samurai, which veered off the road and rolled over, police said. He was treated at the scene and released.

Another passenger, a 20-year-old Lynnwood woman, wasn’t hurt, according to the patrol.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
