Here are the latest reports from Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood and Brier police:

June 24

Assault. 22500 block 44th Ave. W., 2:34 p.m.

An 18-year-old Mountlake Terrace man said he was on his way home when three men approached him, accused him of knocking over their garbage cans, and beat him up. He said he was knocked unconscious and when he awoke, he was in the back of an ambulance en route to Northwest Hospital.

Drug possession. 5500 block 220th St. SW, 3:32 a.m. Police arrested a 45-year-old Mountlake Terrace man for cocaine and heroin possession. He'd been carrying a backpack with the drugs and was also wanted for escaping from the state Department of Corrections.

June 23

DUI. 720 block of 220th St. SW., 11:59 p.m. Police arrested a 39-year-old Edmonds woman after stopping her car for speeding.

Assault. 44th Ave. W and 214th St. SW., 1:09 a.m. Police arrested a 16-year-old Mountlake Terrace boy after two men said a group of teens assaulted them. One of the victims was hit on the head with a bottle and another was hit with a pool cue that had a nail on it.

June 22

Dog attack. 241st St. SW. A woman and her husband said they were walking their German Shepherd when two dogs aggressively approached their dog. They yelled at the dogs to leave and one of them, a black Labrador retriever, bit their dog in the rump. The dog's owner apologized for the attack, which left the German Shepherd with four puncture wounds.

June 21

ID theft, drugs. 6000 block 244th St. SW, 12:15 a.m. Police arrested a 31-year-old Seattle man wanted in King County on identity theft charges. They confiscated a glass methamphetamine pipe and a small amount of meth from a hotel room where he was staying. He was booked into Lynnwood's municipal jail.

Panhandler handled. 5600 block 232nd St SW, 10:49 a.m. Police arrested a 47-year-old Mountlake Terrace man for panhandling in front of a store that sells meat. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail. A police check showed he had been wanted on a warrant for violating a judge's no-contact order.

Residential burglary. 3600 block of 227th St. SW. A Bothell woman said she believes someone entered a residence she is house-sitting and helped themselves to some food and drinks. The suspect may have entered through a small dog entrance door.

June 20

Malicious mischief. 3400 block of Alaska Road. Someone said they saw two teens damaging street signs. Police identified the pair as a 19-year-old Kenmore man and a 17-year-old Kenmore girl. The man admitted to damaging the signs. Police cited him, then released the pair at their homes.

Lynnwood police responded to 16 domestic violence reports June 16-23.
