Surprise, surprise.
I thought Friday's Marysville-Pilchuck vs. Lake Stevens football game was going to be a close one — maybe even requiring overtime to sort out which team was best.
Not necessary. M-P dominated from start to finish en route to a thoroughly one-sided 28-0 triumph.
For the first time in 33 years, M-P is 6-0. Propelled by devastatingly good linemen, the Tomahawks are starting to get noticed. This week they are seventh in the Tacoma News Tribune Class 4A state football rankings.
