The school was in lockdown for about an hour while police worked in the area, Marysville police Cmdr. Ralph Krusey said. Around 10 a.m. a Marysville woman, 31, got into a shouting match with her boyfriend, 38, in a home in the 5300 block of 116th Street NE, Krusey said. That’s just north of the high school. She left and walked to a convenience store at 100th Street NE and 51st Avenue NE. Her boyfriend followed in his car, Krusey said. The man allegedly brandished a semi-automatic rifle and threatened to kill the woman and her family. He drove away. Police tracked the man down back at his home, surrounded the area and arrested him without incident, Krusey said. “It’s a very successful ending with him being taken into custody with no injuries to anyone,” he said.
