Edmonds man dies in one-car accident near Martha Lake
Herald Staff
LYNNWOOD – An Edmonds man died early Sunday in a rollover accident south of Martha Lake.
Police were called to 164th Street SW near Seventh Place W. about 2.40 a.m. Sunday, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
The vehicle was headed east on 164th Street SW when it lost control and rolled on its top. The 23-year-old driver died at the scene, she said.
His passenger, a 22-year-old Poulsbo man was hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Hover said.
Hover said no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The men’s names haven’t been released and the accident is under investigation, she said.
