Man jumps from Terrace overpass

The Washington State Patrol is investigating reports that a man jumped off the I-5 overpass at 236th Street Southwest in Mountlake Terrace early Sunday.

Trooper Keith Leary said witnesses reported seeing a man jump at about 9 a.m.
"At this point, we don't have a motive," he said, adding that the man wasn't wanted by police.

Medics rushed the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after he apparently struck a semi-tractor trailer on the freeway.
