Vandals hit the cemetery and mausoleum in the 4500 block of Broadway sometime overnight, Everett police said. Detectives have no suspects. They are investigating the potential for a connection to similar vandalism at cemeteries in the north Seattle area in recent days. Patrol officers plan to keep an extra watch on all area cemeteries, officials said. Police also ask the public to report suspicious activity in and around cemeteries, including vehicles driving on the grounds at night or people who don’t appear to be paying respects. Anyone with information is asked to call the Everett Police Department Tip Line at 425-257–8450.
