Older people are happier, study finds 7/15/08
Hikers stay happy together 7/15/08

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling

Older people, a study suggests, are happier than the youths.

We're no expert on such things, but it seems that a few certain things missing from seniors' lives probably make a big difference. For example, the elderly are unlikely to have been excessively exposed to Britney Spears' music, Rick Rolling or those foul mixed drinks made with Red Bull.

Maybe it's the fresh air. A local 93-year-old hiker is encouragement for the other hikers in the Happy Hikers. Ninety-three years old, eh? The Buzz -- chagrined to be outdone by someone several decades older -- shamefacedly retracts all complaints about hills made during previous hiking trips.

Netflix and Microsoft are teaming up to make streaming movies available over the XBox.

It's great news for the business, but less so for males ages 16 to 35. Now they won't even get the exercise it requires to carry DVDs to the mailbox.

Also, a prediction on upcoming headlines once the deal is ready: "Nation's productivity drops 20 percent among males age 16 to 35."
