New football team has slick Web site

A team that is months away from playing its first official game already has a spiffy Web site.

I recently stumbled upon the Glacier Peak High School football squad’s online home. Glacier Peak, which will open this fall, is located in Snohomish. The Grizzlies will compete in the Wesco 3A league with Everett, Lynnwood, Meadowdale and Shorecrest.

Glacier Peak head football Rory Rosenbach has been busy, or whoever he asked to run the site has been anyway.

The site includes a team roster of 67 players. (All of them will be either sophomores or juniors next school year — Glacier Peak won’t have seniors its first season.)

Other info provided: details about the coaching staff, the team’s 2008 schedule, and a banner that lists the number of days until the season begins.
